EuroScan

EuroScan - Scan the origin of your food.

Shop consciously, support your region: Scan the true origin of your food!

Do you really know who's behind your favorite supermarket products? Many brands give the impression of being regional or European, but in reality, they belong to large overseas corporations.

With EuroScan, you can shed light on the matter. Simply scan the barcode of a food product and find out the origin of the brand and its parent company in seconds.

🔍 HOW DOES EUROSCAN WORK?

Open the camera & scan the barcode: Hold the camera over the EAN code of a product.

Get instant analysis: The intuitive traffic light system shows you the classification:

🟢 European: The brand and parent company are based and primarily produce in Europe.

🟡 Mixed (Global EU): The brand produces in Europe but belongs to a non-European parent company (e.g., Milka under Mondelēz).

🔴 Overseas / Global: The brand and company originate from outside Europe (e.g., USA).

Understand the background: See the exact headquarters of the parent company and the GS1 registration country.

🛠️ APP HIGHLIGHTS

100% Offline Capable: EuroScan saves the 100,000 most important products directly to your smartphone. This means you get instant results even in the deepest supermarket without network coverage.

Corporate Transparency (Trojan Detection): Many apps only show the country of origin. EuroScan goes a step further and also displays the origin of the actual parent company (e.g., Unilever, Nestlé, Mondelēz, PepsiCo).

Integrated Nutritional Information (Nutri-Score & Eco-Score): In addition to the origin, you can also see important nutritional information at a glance for many food products.

Privacy First: No registration required. Your scans are processed anonymously, and no movement profiles are created.
