User reviews

Users generally appreciate Locker's rich features like site-based password history, email alias generation, and user-friendly UI. The extension supports convenient auto-fill options and migration from other managers, with a favorable lifetime subscription. However, multiple users report performance issues including slowness and lag, along with occasional bugs. Some users find the free version's password limit restrictive. Despite being early in development, Locker shows promise and rapid improvement, appealing to users seeking an alternative to established password managers.

  • Offers a lifetime subscription option, which users find advantageous compared to subscription-only competitors.
Cons
  • Causes Chrome to become slow and laggy for some users, affecting browsing experience.
  • Extension can be slow to load or respond at times.
  • Still in early development with some bugs and optimization issues needing improvement.
  • Free version limits the number of stored passwords (e.g., maximum 100), which frustrates some users.

After installing it, Chrome became extremely slow and laggy. The extension is buggy and causes significant lag, making browsing frustrating. I had to disable it to get Chrome working normally again.

Great new password manager. It offers more features than Bitwarden. Notably, Locker includes site-based password history, unlike Bitwarden, which has a global password history list only for generated passwords. I hope to see further improvements in the UI as time goes by, but it’s off to a great start!
