Mitaka

A browser extension for searching IP, domain, URL, hash, etc. via the context menu.

Mitaka: Contextual Search Extension for Cyber Analysis

"Mitaka" is a versatile Chrome extension designed to assist cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts. It enables users to select text on any webpage and conduct context menu searches for a variety of indicators of compromise (IoC), such as IP addresses, domain names, URLs, and file hashes. The extension simplifies the process of 'refanging' these IoCs—converting them from a non-clickable to a clickable state—with support for various security-focused search engines, including VirusTotal, urlscan.io, Censys, and Shodan. Mitaka is an essential tool for quick and efficient analysis, investigation, and threat intelligence gathering directly from the browser.

User reviews
FYI, some of the search engines Mitaka relies upon will require you to provide an API Key (e.g. urlscan, HybridAnalysis and VirusTotal). These websites will require you to create an account with them on their website to be able to get your API Key. There's nothing that Mitaka devs can do about it, so it's a feature, not a bug 😁

cant get it to work. It asks for an api key, but it's not supposed to need one for personal use
