User Reviews

Authenticator App is praised for its ease of use, reliability, and effective syncing of authentication codes across devices, providing secure 2FA management. However, multiple users highlight that the extension is exclusively compatible with macOS, causing issues for users on Linux or unsupported platforms. Additionally, the Firefox add-on's description lacks clear information about these platform restrictions, leading to confusion. Overall, while it functions well for macOS users, its limited platform availability and unclear communication are significant drawbacks.
Pros
  • Helps in keeping track of authentication codes easily.

  • Offers reliability and ease of use for managing 2FA codes.
  • Provides enhanced security by separating 2FA management from password managers.
Cons
  • Only supports macOS platform; not available for Linux or Windows users.
  • Add-on description does not clearly state platform limitations.
  • Not yet fully supported or available on Firefox for non-macOS users.

This is a paid app. They dont tell you that until you've downloaded it. Prices for a simple piece of software are ridiculous. Only works on mac. Super unhelpful
