ANDROID PERMISSIONS & ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Lucid uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when you open an app you selected and to identify short-video feeds (Shorts, Reels, TikTok). This core function lets Lucid apply your rules and display a focus barrier at the right moment.

Usage access is used to calculate time spent in apps, daily goals, and on-device statistics. The display over other apps permission lets Lucid show its barrier above selected apps.

Information obtained through the Accessibility Service and raw usage data are processed on your device and are not collected or shared by Lucid. Lucid does not record your screen or audio, change settings without your permission, or prevent you from disabling the service or uninstalling the app. You can disable these permissions at any time in Android Settings.
