Translate whatever you hear in any app in real time, for free and right on your phone. Live subtitles float over your video about a second after the words are spoken. Use it for foreign movies and for the clips nobody bothered to subtitle. If your favorite streamer speaks Korean, you can laugh at the jokes with the chat instead of guessing.

Download the speech model once and Audio Translator works offline from then on, even in airplane mode. There's no account and no server in between, and nothing you watch leaves the phone. Sessions have no time limit either, so a four-hour stream gets subtitled start to finish.

Your video keeps the full screen while the subtitles stay in a little box on top. Drag it off the scoreboard or someone's face, or stretch it to see more lines. The text goes big enough to read from the couch.

Speech to text for lectures and podcasts
Transcribe and translate an online lecture or a long podcast as you listen. With autosave on, the whole transcript is saved to your Downloads folder as a .txt file. When you need a quote later, search the file instead of scrubbing back through the audio.

Live captions and dual subtitles
Set the same language on both sides and you get plain live captions, handy when you're hard of hearing or the sound is turned down. If you're learning a language, turn on dual subtitles: the original line sits right above each translation, so you can check a word you missed.

Real-time translator for 33 spoken and 39 subtitle languages
Any spoken language can go into any subtitle language, and neither has to be English. Watch Japanese anime with Spanish subtitles, or a Turkish drama in Arabic.

Pick two languages, tap Start and go back to whatever you were watching. The subtitles show up on their own, and next time you can turn them on from the Quick Settings tile. Try it on the next video you'd have skipped because of the language.
