MAKE AUTO SUBTITLES FROM SPEECH
Your phone hears speech in about 100 languages and makes auto subtitles for videos on your device. Finished parts already show subtitles while the rest is being made. Switch to another app while you wait and it keeps going in the background.

VIDEO AND SUBTITLE TRANSLATOR
Translate the subtitles into about 60 languages, including English. Show the original and the translation together as dual subtitles, or just one language. Pick the same language on both sides for original-language subtitles.

EDIT SUBTITLES ON THE VIDEO
Tap Edit under the video to open the subtitle editor. The video pauses and the line becomes text you can change. Delete a wrong line, fix a word, or add a line where there is none. While editing, move one line or all lines earlier or later to fix timing.

LIVE SUBTITLES OVER OTHER APPS
When you turn on live captions, sound playing in another app appears as subtitles on top of it, and can be translated into your language. Live subtitles hear Japanese, English, Korean and Chinese only, and are less accurate than subtitles made for a saved video.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
Speech recognition and translation run on your phone. Your videos and dialogue are never sent to a server. Download a language file once and make or translate subtitles offline, even in airplane mode. The download size is shown first.

Choose subtitle size, position, color, background, font and weight so lines are comfortable to read.

KEEP MOMENTS AND EDIT VIDEO
Press and hold the middle of the video to save the scene as a picture. Make a GIF from part of a video, or add bookmarks. Trim the start or end without losing quality, or join videos into one.

LEARN LANGUAGES
For language study, read both languages with dual subtitles, replay one line, loop a section with A-B repeat, and play at a slower speed.

LIBRARY AND FAVORITES
Browse videos by date or album, and search by name. Mark favorites with a star, and open a playlist while watching. Long-press to rename, move, share or delete several at once. Set it as your default player and videos from other apps open here.

App screens come in more than 60 languages and follow your phone's language.

The first subtitles take a little time. Time and accuracy depend on your phone, the language and the recording. Live subtitles translate sound as it plays, so they are less accurate than subtitles made for a saved video. Fast translation shows Google translation attribution. Please use it on videos you have the right to subtitle.
