Phone Number Formatter

Thought I finally found an extension to help me format phone numbers, but it only formats numbers one way. xxx-xxx-xxxx Every phone number I have ever formatted is like (xxx) xxx-xxxx, so this is useless to me. It really should have an option to select how you want it formatted instead of having it hard coded for a single format. There are many ways to format a phone number, so it's disappointing that it doesn't let you choose. The hard work of the extension is to identify the parts of phone number. Once that's done it would be trivial to format it in any way you see fit. This should have an options page to choose from one of many formats. Guess I'll keep looking.
