What is Open in CyberChef?
'Open in CyberChef' is a handy Chrome extension that integrates CyberChef - the digital data-analysis tool, directly into your browser's interface. It allows selected text to be sent straight to CyberChef for analysis or decoding, either on the default URL or on a user-specified local instance. This extension promises strict confidentiality and doesn't collect personal data or feature any advertisements.

Summary

Adds an open selected text in CyberChef option to the right-click context menu. It includes the option of what URL to use for CyberChef, default is https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/. A local instance of CyberChef can be specified using the format "file:///C:/Users/Test/Downloads/cyberchef.htm". CyberChef's website describes itself as "A simple, intuitive web app for analysing and decoding data without having to deal with complex tools or programming languages. CyberChef encourages both technical and non-technical people to explore data formats, encryption and compression."

This extension does NOT collect any personal data, does NOT have any advertisements, and will NEVER be sold. The code is open source under MIT License and available at https://github.com/maurermj08/open-in-cyber-chef.
