Youtube Shorts Block Chrome Extension

Youtube Shorts Block lets you watch YouTube Shorts videos as normal YouTube videos on the main watch page. Instead of the typical vertical Shorts format, it converts Shorts video URLs from youtube.com/shorts/video-id to the standard youtube.com/watch?v=video-id format for a more traditional viewing experience.

Additionally, this extension optionally hides the Shorts tab and Shorts videos on YouTube, helping users avoid the Shorts feed entirely if desired. Note that on Firefox, autoplay is disabled by default due to browser restrictions; users need to enable "Allow Audio and Video" autoplay to make videos play automatically.
