The YouTube Audio/Video Sync Chrome extension addresses the common problem of audio delay when streaming YouTube videos wirelessly to receivers like Apple TV, AirPlay speakers, Sonos, Bluetooth devices, and more. Unlike music, video content is susceptible to audio-video sync issues, making viewing frustrating.

This extension enables a one-time setup where users play a YouTube video, adjust a latency slider via the addon’s options until audio matches the video perfectly, and enjoy synced playback. Users can enable or disable synchronization easily through the extension icon. By muting the original video audio and reloading it with the adjusted delay, it corrects the lag without complicated setups. Note that it does not support YouTube Live videos and functions only on the main youtube.com domain, not embedded players.
