X-Posed: Account Location & Device Info Firefox

X-Posed: Account Location & Device Info

See where X accounts post from and what device they use. Country flags, device icons, and VPN/proxy signals inline, plus location-aware filtering.

Features & Capabilities

X-Posed lets you quickly see where X users are located and which devices they use by displaying country flags and device icons beside usernames. This visual cue helps you gauge audience reach and device mix at a glance, with an optional geo-blocking option to control visibility.

Recent updates introduce regional and tag-based blocking, enhanced info hovercards showing location, device, and verification signals, VPN/proxy visibility, and improved export/import for cross-device syncing. The extension prioritizes fast lookups, privacy-focused controls, and flexible blocking across the X experience.

User Reviews

DO NOT install this extension unless you have a blue checkmark X account, or you WILL be shadowbanned (no one will see your posts but your followers). i dunno if it also shadowbans you if you pay for X, so maybe don't install it at all. this extension uses X's API to work, and since it sends so many request, it will classify your account as a bot, and shadowban you. other than that, this extension works extremely well, the layout is very nice, so i won't give it 1 star. but i can't recommend installing it, unfortunately

DO NOT USE. YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM X. Got flagged for "Inauthetic behavior" days after installing this extension. It works by spamming the X API to pull the country information. With X's EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY strict anti-spam detection where as little as 40 actions will net you a ban, installing this extension is begging to be shadow banned or visibility limited by their hyper-aggressive Grok AI moderation, reducing your X experience to read-only as everything you post is hidden from all uses. Now my 4 year old X account is locked into read only and dead and cannot be appealed.
