X/Twitter Location Flags, Time & Blocker Firefox

X/Twitter Location Flags, Time & Blocker

Adds country flags to X/Twitter usernames and lets you auto-hide posts from specific countries. Fast, private, and community-driven.

Features & Capabilities

Adds country flags to X/Twitter usernames and lets you auto-hide posts from specific countries. Fast, private, and community-driven.

This extension adds a country flag emoji and local time next to usernames on your timeline, letting you instantly see the account's location and time context. It also features a powerful "Block by Country" mode to automatically hide tweets from specific regions.

My personal goal and promise for this extension is to keep it as lightweight and minimalistic as possible, without sacrificing functionality. I prioritize essential functionality over complex settings to ensure a seamless experience that won't slow down your browser.

🚀 KEY FEATURES 📊 INTERACTIVE FEED GEOGRAPHY DASHBOARD (NEW!) Visualize your timeline’s global distribution on a gorgeous, hover-interactive world map. View logarithmic heatmaps of your feed's locations, track your top countries, and share your discovery stats with the community. 📍 AUTOMATIC LOCATION FLAGS Detects the country of origin for any account using X’s internal metadata. Whether they’re in a city or a continent, you’ll see the flag next to their name. ⚠️ APPROXIMATE LOCATION WARNINGS (NEW!) Not all profile locations are precise. If X's metadata indicates a broad region rather than an accurate coordinate, the extension appends a subtle warning icon (⚠️) beside the flag so you always have the correct context. 🕒 USER LOCAL TIME See the current local time for any user. Perfect for global networking, international business, and identifying "sleep-tweeting" patterns or bot activity. Includes a smart Day/Night (🌙) indicator. 🚫 POWERFUL COUNTRY BLOCKER Select countries you want to filter out. Tweets from those regions vanish from your feed. Verified-Only Mode: Block spam from specific regions while keeping regular accounts visible. True Auto-Block: Optionally block accounts at the X-system level automatically. 🌍 DISCOVERY PASSPORT & MILESTONES Track your global reach! Get notified in real-time whenever you encounter a user from a new country, and unlock milestones as you clean your feed. How many of the 195+ countries can you find? ⚡ LIGHTNING FAST & EFFICIENT (UPDATED) Our 3-tier lookup system (IndexedDB Local Cache -> Community Cloud -> Twitter API) now features Passive Data Snooping. The extension parses timeline data chunks in the background, caching up to 5,000+ profile locations without sending redundant active API requests. 🖥️ THE WINDOWS FIX Specifically designed to fix the "invisible flag" bug on Windows by injecting high-quality Twemojis.

🔒 Privacy First: We do not store your browsing history. We do not store IP addresses (they are cryptographically hashed for spam prevention). The extension only looks at public username and location data.

❓ WHY USE THIS? For Business: Know if it's the right time to reach out to a global lead. For News: Verify if a local report is actually coming from that region. For Safety: Filter out coordinated bot campaigns from known spam-hubs. Not affiliated with X Corp. Just making the platform better, one flag at a time.

So far works great! Bye bye Israel and USA! It does eat up API calls but I assume it will get better as more people use the extension.
