Convert any webpage or local HTML document into a Microsoft Word (.DOCX) file with one click. The extension reads the current page or a local HTML file, sends the content to the GrabzIt API for conversion, and then automatically downloads the DOCX to your computer. Supports password protection for exported files and optional premium features like hiding cookie notices and adding headers and footers.

Getting started is simple: install the extension, follow the in-app instructions to obtain your free GrabzIt application key, enter it into the extension, and begin converting. GrabzIt remains free forever with an optional upgrade to increase monthly allowance and unlock additional settings.

User Reviews

Well, this add-on fully fulfilled my expectations. Needed to save to PDF, but with some edits. Captured what I needed to DOCX, then edited with MS Word and finally saved as PDF. The Micro option worked fine for me. The only inconvenience that switching Firefox tabs while conversion is in progress cancels the process. Minor issue however.

This extension creates an empty docx file both in FF and other browsers. Plus you have to create an account which is rather silly. Don't waste your time.

This is without a doubt the WORST Add-on for Firefox I've ever used. The amount of time it took to create a "free" account, set up the task, and provide all the information about the webpage just to print it as a DOCX or PDF file was ridiculous! The information that is provided by the Add-on creator in the Firefox Add-on website gave me the impression it was completely free. As soon as I set up my account I knew that was not the case. My "free" account showed a renewal date of today, the same day I created it. The DOCX file was useless, it was totally unreadable. The PDF output was the same as if I used the really "free" built in Firefox mobile "Save as PDF."
