User Reviews

Users praise Web Highlights for its rich feature set (highlighting, saving, annotating, commenting, transferring) and its color variety; it's easy to use and syncs across devices, making it ideal for research and annotating PDFs/web pages. The main drawback cited is performance impact on heavier pages and higher memory usage when active. Many reports confirm fast setup, cross-device syncing, and a helpful notes/search workflow, with strong appeal for researchers and readers who want to revisit quotes and references.

  • Robust feature set for highlighting, saving articles, commenting, transferring highlights, and taking notes in one place.
  • Wide range of highlight colors, making it easier to distinguish notes and quotes.
  • Easy to use and intuitive interface.
  • Excellent cross-device syncing so highlights stay in sync across laptop and mobile.
  • Great for research and annotating web pages and PDFs.
Cons
  • Performance and memory usage: heavier pages may slow down, and the extension can consume noticeable memory.

Me ha gustado mucho, tiene su propio modo lector que pude poner en modo oscuro. Me encanta que puedo elegir entre diferentes colores de subrayado. Me ha resultado muy útil :)

Useless extension! Too complicated to work with. Plus, as a free user you cannot even save your highlights in pdf format which is essential to me. Everything it does can be achieved using some other free extensions which may not be as sexy as this one, but you will get similar results.
