WalletChan Firefox

WalletChan

WalletChan is an AI-powered Web3 wallet for EVM chains. Connect to any dapp, sign transactions, and chat with Bankr AI to send transactions in plain English. Supports Bankr API accounts, private keys, seed phrases, and view-only addresses.

Features & Capabilities

WalletChan is a Web3 wallet browser extension for EVM chains — like MetaMask, but AI-powered.

Connect to any dapp, sign messages, and execute transactions across Base, Ethereum, MegaETH, Polygon, and Unichain. Or just chat with Bankr AI in plain English and let it handle the transactions for you.

== Supported Account Types ==

• Bankr API accounts — AI-powered wallets backed by the Bankr API • Private Key accounts — local signing, your keys never leave the device • Seed Phrase accounts — HD wallet support with local signing • Impersonator accounts — view-only mode for inspecting any address

== Features ==

• Full EIP-6963 + window.ethereum provider — works on any dapp • ERC-5792 batch transactions — single popup for multi-step flows on supported dapps • Cross-dapp batching — assemble transactions from different dapps into one batch • Transaction simulation — preview asset changes before you sign • Built-in token swaps via 0x • Clear-signing for typed data • L2 force inclusion via OP Stack L1 deposits • Two themes — Bauhaus (light, geometric) and Midnight (dark)

== Security ==

• Private keys and API credentials are encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM • Key derivation via PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations • Passwords are never stored — only used to derive encryption keys at unlock time • Auto-lock on inactivity (configurable, including "Never") • Agent password mode separates everyday signing from sensitive operations like private key reveal • Open source — full source code available on GitHub

== Privacy ==

WalletChan does not collect analytics, track users, or read page content. The content script only bridges Web3 messages between dapps and the extension. Network requests are limited to: the Bankr API (for AI-backed transaction signing), blockchain RPC endpoints, address labels (eth.sh), and website favicons.

Is WalletChan Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

WalletChan requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
