WAuth Firefox

WAuth

Manage your WeilChain accounts, review recent on-chain activity, and connect to dApps — securely, from your browser.

Features & Capabilities

WAuth is your gateway to WeilChain. This beta release keeps the essentials front and centre: your keys stay encrypted on your own machine, and your recent on-chain activity is one click away.

KEY FEATURES

• Recent activity at a glance — the home screen lists the latest transactions for the active account: the method that was called, the applet it ran against, the transaction hash, sender and recipient, and when it happened. Select any entry to open it in the block explorer. • Connect to dApps on WeilChain — link the wallet to WeilChain dApps for accounts, signatures, transactions and network switches, and review or revoke site access at any time from Connected Sites. • Multiple accounts, one recovery phrase — derive additional accounts from your recovery phrase, or import an existing account with a recovery phrase or private key, and switch between them in a tap. • Organizations and teams — discover and link the organizations your account belongs to through Weilliptic's naming and identity services, switch the active organization, and carry that org context through into your wallet exports. • Networks on your terms — switch between WeilChain networks or add your own RPC endpoint. • Receipts for AI-assisted work — optional audit logging for supported AI chat sites (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and Sarvam) that records receipts on WeilChain. It is off until you turn it on, toggled per site from the wallet popup, and the popup shows how much of your free audit allowance is left. • Address book — save the addresses you use often and pick them by name instead of pasting hex. • Backups you control — export a wallet backup file, and an encrypted copy of your dApp registry, straight from Settings. • Locked when you are away — the wallet is protected by a password you set during onboarding and locks itself; light and dark themes included.

Is WAuth Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

WAuth requires a lot of sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

WAuth is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.
