Features & Capabilities

This extension creates:

  1. A toolbar button and listens for browser action events to scan active tab's URL and displays results in a new tab.
  2. Listens for download events and scans the downloaded file and displays results in a new tab.

How to use (see images):

  1. Go to the about:addons and find the extension.
  2. Enter a VT API key into the options window. If you do not have one, then register at http://www.virustotal.com
