User Reviews

Users appreciate the add-on for its simplicity and speed in scanning URLs compared to manual checks. However, a common and significant issue reported by multiple users is that scans often remain queued and do not complete, displaying the message 'Scan still queued. Stopped polling. Please rescan later.' This problem persists despite attempts to fix it by restarting or reinstalling, leading some users to remove the add-on.
Pros
  • Provides quick and easy scanning of URLs without manually visiting VirusTotal website
  • User interface is simple and easy to use
  • Works perfectly for some users
  • Saves time by speeding up the scanning process
Cons
  • Frequently shows error message: 'Scan still queued. Stopped polling. Please rescan later.'
  • Issue persists even after rebooting, reinstalling the add-on, and checking VirusTotal website
  • Inconsistent functionality - works a few times initially then fails repeatedly

I thought I would try it. I get the same issue as others. "Scan still queued. Stopped polling. Please rescan later." I even rebooted. No resolution. I removed it.
