How and when to plant Veladoda
1) Well drained, organic matter, loamy soil is good for cultivation of Veladoda. The crop does not grow well in swampy areas, it is prone to fungal diseases.

2) Veladoda is propagated by planting new shoots and seeds near the trunk of the tree. The shoots near the trunk of the tree should be separated from the main tree. Care should be taken to ensure that they remain part of the root as well as part of the stem.

3) Separated new vigorous shoots are suitable for permanent replacement. Veladoda seedlings should be planted in a place with natural shade.

4) 60 x 60 x 45 cm for planting. Dig shaped pits. Pour mulch on the bottom of the pit, fill it with a mixture of well decomposed cow dung, 200 g of neem paste and soil. The mixture of manure and soil should be used to make the pit 15 cm above the ground level. Make it high. Then make a bag shaped hole on this hill and cut the seedling bag with the help of a blade and plant it separately. The plant should not be planted too deep. Seedlings should be planted after monsoon if possible.
