User Reviews

Users appreciate the app's accessible and effective compassion focused therapy content, daily practices, and supportive journaling features. It helps build positive habits and self-compassion with bite-sized insightful sessions. However, instability issues like glitches and crashes, a high upfront cost without monthly subscription, no desktop version, data loss when changing devices, and a confusing course structure were noted. Overall, it is praised for its helpfulness and quality content but could improve technical stability and usability features.
Pros
  • Provides effective and accessible compassion focused therapy (CFT) content and practices.
  • Helps users develop positive habits and increase self-compassion through daily lessons, check-ins, and journaling.
  • The app is easy to use with bite-sized sessions suitable for daily use without feeling overwhelming.
  • Includes variety of tools such as meditation, breathing exercises, gratitude prompts, and motivational content.
  • Highly recommended by users for personal growth and therapy support, with good scientific credibility.
Cons
  • App can be glitchy or unstable at times, including not registering completed lessons and occasional crashes.
  • No option for monthly subscription; upfront cost is considered high by some users.
  • Lack of a desktop or web version makes journaling and navigation inconvenient on mobile devices.
  • Changing devices causes users to lose progress and unlocked content, hindering usability.
  • The course structure lacks a clear linear path, which can be confusing for new users seeking step-by-step guidance.

I've now deleted this app. It costs a huge amount upfront for what you get with no option for a monthly subscription to cover development costs. Speaking of development, I did not notice any improvements over the 12 months. If anything the app became less reliable and crashed a few times. Absolute waste of money.

Content is great. Recommend for compassionate guidance. Unlocking app (after paying) has been a bit tricky, and changing devices means losing progress.
