User Reviews

Users largely praise the add-on for forcing Google to show Web results and blocking AI overlays, improving search efficiency and reducing clutter. However, stability concerns persist: the All results feature often doesn’t work, mobile usage can break searches, and some non-All searches require disabling the extension. Updates may reintroduce AI content on some devices, and disabling the extension can leave behind a residual Google Web entry.
Pros
  • Forces Google search results to the Web results page, effectively bypassing AI/Overview overlays.
  • Reduces exposure to AI-generated content and saves time by avoiding AI clutter.
  • Generally reliable across Windows Firefox and compatible with multiple search engines as noted by users.
  • Praised as a practical, real-world solution that many users appreciate and rely on.
Cons
  • All button/link does not work consistently or is overridden, preventing easy access to all results.
  • Mobile (Android) usage can break Google searches, causing continuous refreshes or load failures.
  • Updates can reintroduce AI content on some platforms, diminishing the benefit after certain Firefox versions or devices.
  • Non-All searches (e.g., Books) may be blocked or require disabling the extension to work properly.
  • Disabling the extension can leave a residual Google Web entry in the search providers menu.

After the extension is disabled, its "Google Web" representation does not disappear from the menu of search providers.
