WeTrek Offline IGN Hiking Maps brings offline navigation and a community-driven library of routes and POIs to your browser. When online, access a wide range of map layers—including IGN topographic maps, aerial imagery, OpenStreetMap Outdoors, OpenCycleMap, and more—and download maps for offline use. The extension supports GPS-guided navigation along planned routes, altitude progress visualization, and alerts if you stray from the path. You can record GPS tracks, create points of interest, and back up routes to the WeTrek platform.

With a WeTrek Plus subscription, gain access to advanced routing (pedestrian and vehicle), additional map layers (IGN 1:25k Top 25 and other maps), and offline map downloads. The extension supports multi-device use (Android & iOS) via Ubicarta and Play Store subscriptions, plus SD card storage to keep data on-device. For longer battery life, you can enable Airplane Mode or disable mobile data without affecting GPS.

Recent reviews

contacted several times regarding being unable to use app on my Samsung Tab 9 due to it crashing as soon as I press enter. Staff not much help and failed to answear problems encountered. Totally useless if I cannot get into the bloody thing. unless something improves will not be renewing and neither will many others reading the reviews since it commencedin November.
