Learner-controlled accessibility: TTS, Braille, Plain Language, UAIE Sign™, 31 languages. Free to use. Works on every website.

Features & Capabilities

UAIE — Universal Adaptive Interface Engine is a learner-controlled accessibility system created by Fiza Pathan — a Mumbai-based educator and award-winning author — that adapts any webpage to the reader.

WHAT UAIE DOES — ON EVERY WEBSITE, FOR FREE: 🔊 TEXT-TO-SPEECH (TTS) — Clear narration using your browser’s system voices, with word-by-word highlighting. No API key required. ⠿ BRAILLE DOWNLOAD — Grade 2 Unified English Braille (UEB) output, downloadable as a BRF file for a refreshable Braille display or embosser. 📖 PLAIN LANGUAGE — Simplifies complex text for easier reading. Levels 1–2 are free; Levels 3–6 use your own Anthropic API key. 📚 READING COMPANION — Large-print mode that reads each word aloud and highlights it, line by line. 🤟 SIGN LANGUAGE — UAIE Sign™: 72 original gestures by Fiza Pathan, with full fingerspelling, working fully offline — plus BSL, ASL, and ISL word lookup. 🌐 31 INTERFACE LANGUAGES — including English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Sanskrit, Arabic, and Urdu. Switch the interface language from the UAIE Settings popup in your browser toolbar. Also included: Dyslexia Reading Font (OpenDyslexic), Colour-Blindness simulation, High Contrast and Dark Mode, and an Alt+A keyboard shortcut. WCAG 2.2 AA self-certified.

WHO IT IS FOR: Students with dyslexia, low vision, hearing differences, or cognitive differences — and educators, inclusive classrooms, and anyone who reads differently.

FREE CORE. No account. No data collection, no analytics, no tracking. Works on every website. Optional AI features (Plain Language Levels 3–6, Translate, and Multiple Intelligences) run only when you supply your own Anthropic API key.
