Twitch Flags Firefox

Twitch Flags

Shows opt-in country and territory flags beside usernames in Twitch chat.

Features & Capabilities

Twitch Flags adds opt-in country and territory flags beside usernames in Twitch live chat, VOD chat, and Creator Dashboard chat.

People choose their public flag through https://twitchflags.live. When a Twitch numeric user ID has a flag registered, the extension displays the matching Twemoji flag in chat. Hover over or focus the flag to see the localized country or territory name.

Open the extension popup to place flags before or after usernames. Lookup results are cached locally for up to seven days to reduce network requests.

The extension sends Twitch numeric user IDs to twitchflags.live only to retrieve public flag mappings. It does not send chat-message text. See the privacy policy at https://twitchflags.live/privacy for complete details.

Twitch Flags is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch.

Is Twitch Flags Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Twitch Flags requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
