Twitch Enhancer Firefox

Twitch Enhancer

Make Twitch better for background watching, drops, and channel points

Features & Capabilities

Twitch Enhancer is a modular extension that improves everyday Twitch viewing with practical quality-of-life tools. It brings several useful Twitch tweaks into one place, so you can manage stream quality, claim channel points, keep background playback more reliable, and customize how stream information appears across the site.

It is especially useful for background watching, drops, and channel points, while still letting you enable only the features you actually want.

Main features:

  • Toggle video quality with one click from the extension button: Switch between low quality and your preferred high quality, and optionally mute player/tab.
  • Keep tab active to help Twitch playback stay active in the background: Especially useful for people who like to farm Channel Points and Dropd.
  • Automatically claim channel points bonuses under chat.
  • Block selected Twitch annoyances with flexible per-element controls (Disabled by default, you can enable the module in Options). Provides a separate checkbox for each supported element: Auto-pause promoted streams on the homepage Cookies consent banner Header buttons for News from Luna, Bits, and Go Ad-Free Stories in the left navigation panel Chat leaderboard and goals panel Player extensions Channel header buttons for Bits, Gift Subs, Subscribe, and Continue Sub Can block all player extensions at once, including potentially useful ones Alternatively, can block only extension dock buttons or the Prime Benefits dropdown
  • Automatically apply Viewers: High to Low sorting on Twitch directory pages.
  • Show stream language next to the channel name or on the stream preview card.
  • Per-module settings and toggles in a shared options page.
Notes: • The extension does not block ads. • It does not alter Twitch server-side behavior and works only with client-side functionality already available to the user.

Is Twitch Enhancer Safe?

Risk impact

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Twitch Enhancer requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
