Extension attempts to use ALL of your available memory, no matter how much you have! My browser memory usage is usually under 1 GB, even with a hundred active tabs. But adding this extension made both Firefox and Waterfox crash horribly, with a reported memory usage of 59 GB! (My system has 64 GB, which explains the crash, when the usage had reached the maximum.) I had to open the Task Manager to force close the browser. There is a very small time window of about 10 seconds when you first open the browser where everything is working. But then the memory usage quickly climbs, causing the freeze. I was able to take advantage of that small window to quickly remove the extension, and now everything is back to normal. I tested the extension by disabling all other extensions, except this one. I also tried it on 3 other computers with different configurations. This is crazy! How can such a popular extension have such a massive memory problem? More like a memory black hole! I wanted this extension simply for the gamepad support. But definitely going for something else now.
