Offline Android

Offline

Physically disconnect from distracting apps.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Offline — A little less phone. A little more life.

Offline helps you spend less time on the apps that steal your attention, using a simple idea: real friction beats another toggle you'll just switch back off in ten seconds.

HOW IT WORKS

Tap your Offline tag to turn protection on. Your selected apps — social media, games, whatever pulls you in — are blocked instantly. Tap the tag again when you're ready to come back.

That's it. No timers to negotiate with, no "just five more minutes" override buried in a menu. The tag lives wherever you decide — your desk, your door, a drawer across the room — so turning protection off takes an actual, deliberate action.

Don't have an NFC tag, or a phone without NFC? Offline also offers an optional manual protection switch right on the Home screen, so you get the same on/off protection without needing a physical tag. It's off by default — NFC is still the experience we recommend — but it's there if you want it.

WHAT YOU GET

• Choose your boundaries — pick exactly which apps get blocked. Nothing else is touched.
• One protection switch — your Offline tag and the optional Home control both drive the same protection state, so they're always in sync.
• A real blocking screen — when you open a protected app, Offline shows a calm full-screen reminder instead of letting you scroll past it.
• Activity, not surveillance — see your screen time, apps blocked, unlocks prevented, and offline sessions for the week, so you can see the pattern change.
• Works without an internet connection — protection runs entirely on your device.

BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY BREAK HABITS

Most focus apps let you undo yourself in one tap, which means they only work on your best days. Offline is built around adding just enough friction that turning it off requires leaving the moment you're in — closing the app, going home, and making a conscious choice — rather than a reflexive swipe.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

Offline uses Android's Accessibility service for one purpose only: detecting when you open an app you've chosen to block, so it can show the blocking screen before that app opens. It does not read your messages, passwords, or other personal information, and it does not transmit screen contents anywhere. There's no account required and no data leaves your device.

WHO IT'S FOR

Anyone who's tried a screen-time app before and just tapped "ignore limit." Offline is for the days your willpower runs out — because the app doesn't rely on it.

A little less phone. A little more life.
