VisiMee

Being diagnosed with lung cancer is a very challenging moment in life. You are given a lot of complex information by your treatment team and it can be difficult to understand, remember and later discuss it with your relatives or other family members. It can also be difficult to find reliable information and additional support.

VisiMee is a 3D-based visual communication tool designed to support you as a lung cancer patient in your dialogue with your treatment team at the clinic and your relatives at home. It presents individualized information about your diagnosis and the treatment your treatment team initiates. Through VisiMee you can: access individualized information about your diagnosis and treatment share this information, or selected information, with relatives, family or friends via the app access relevant supportive information about living with lung cancer.
The app has been created in collaboration with doctors and nurses who are specialists in the diagnosis, treatment and care of lung cancer patients, as well as lung cancer patients and relatives representing lung cancer patient associations from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
