"Take a Pawse" is a simple browser extension designed for people who tend to check social media almost automatically. To catch the user's attention, it displays a pop-up with a cute cat GIF that changes based on how many times the user closes it. At first, happy cat appear, but if the user keeps visiting social media and closing the pop-up, the cat may start showing unexpected reactions. The extension also lets users set a timer before the pop-up can be closed and block it from appearing on specific social media sites.
