WHAT SHIELD DOES

Privacy grade: an instant A to F score for every page, computed in your browser.

Tracker blocking: 92,000+ tracker domains from EasyList and EasyPrivacy.

Cookie banners: rejected automatically.

Fingerprint protection: canvas, WebGL, audio and font readings are randomised per site and per session, so the value collected differs every time.

Leak detection and blocking: Shield watches the email, phone and name fields you type into. If a page tries to send that value to a third party before you press submit, Shield tells you who received it and offers to stop that company, on this site or everywhere. The rule takes effect immediately on the page you're already looking at, and one click undoes it.

Names the script that read your field: not "a tracker is present on this page", which any blocker can say, but "this script read your email field four seconds after you typed it, and you never pressed submit". A blocker that filters by destination cannot see a read at all.

Data requests: generate an access or deletion request for any site, ready to send from your own mail client.

The free tier makes no network calls of its own. Open the Network Monitor and watch: Shield sends nothing, because there's nowhere for it to send anything. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no telemetry. Everything happens in your browser and stays there.

Field contents are read on your device to notice when a page transmits them. The values are never stored and never leave your machine, and password and payment fields are never inspected.
