SpectraSync Firefox

SpectraSync

By: 85Win
Add a gentle color tint to any page and keep your preferences synced across devices.

Features & Capabilities

SpectraSync gives the web a calmer, more personal look with a single click. Open the toolbar popup, pick a color and strength, then apply it to the current tab. A lightweight overlay tints the page without changing the site’s content, so text stays readable while glare and harsh contrast soften. If you like a specific look on a site, you can remember that color for the current host and reuse it next time with one tap. Preferences are stored locally by default, and you can enable Firefox Sync to carry your defaults and per-site choices to your other devices. There are no site-wide permissions; the content script runs only when you press Apply. Everything is done with safe, local browser APIs—no tracking, no remote code, just a quick way to make pages feel right for your eyes.

Is SpectraSync Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

SpectraSync requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.
