BLOCKING GAMING SITES (using VPN Service)

Off-Games uses the Android VPN Service API to create a LOCAL tunnel, only on your device, which filters DNS requests and blocks access to betting and gambling sites.

What this service does: It compares requested domains to a list of betting sites and blocks those that match.

What this service does NOT do: No traffic is redirected to a remote server; the tunnel never leaves your device. No browsing content or personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted. No advertising or traffic monetization.

BLOCKING BETTING APPS (Accessibility Service)

Hors Jeux uses the Android AccessibilityService API to block sports betting and gambling apps installed on your phone. This is essential: in Senegal, these apps are often installed outside the Play Store and would remain accessible without this service.

What this service does: It only detects which app is in the foreground (its package name). If it's a betting app, Hors Jeux closes it immediately and returns you to the home screen.

What this service does NOT do: It does not read, record, or transmit any content from your screen, any keystrokes, or any personal data. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Activating these two protections is voluntary. You can deactivate them at any time from your phone's settings.

YOUR PROGRESS

Every day without gambling counts. Hors Jeux tracks your streak of days, estimates the money you've saved, and helps you level up. You can see how many betting attempts have been blocked.

STAY PROTECTED

You can activate a lock that prevents the app from being uninstalled impulsively. To remove it, simply request it in the app and then wait a short time. This time helps you let the urge pass.
