Simple Profanity Blocker is a modern, lightweight Firefox extension designed to clean up your web browsing experience. • Four Filter Modes:
• Blur (Default): Hides bad words with a premium glassmorphic blur. Simply hover your cursor over the word to temporarily reveal it.
• Emoji: Replaces foul words with an angry censored emoji (🤬).
• Replace: Replaces the letters with asterisks (****).
• Remove: Completely deletes the offending words from the page.
• Three Filtering Tiers: Choose your sensitivity level (Severe, Moderate, or Mild) to match your comfort level.
• Advanced Evasion Protection: Smart matching catches common tricks used to bypass simple filters, including leetspeak (a*ck), repeated characters (auuuuck), zero-width space tricks, and non-alphabetic separators (a.u.c.k).
• Whitelisting & False-Positive Guard: Uses an intelligent built-in dictionary to prevent innocent words from being accidentally blocked.
• Custom Control: Add your own custom words to filter, or remove words you don't mind seeing.
• Dynamic SPA Support: Automatically scans new content loaded dynamically via infinite scroll, React/Vue frameworks, or AJAX, keeping the page clean without requiring a refresh.
• Per-Site Overrides: Easily toggle the blocker on or off for specific websites with a single click in the extension popup.
