Recent reviews
Thank you to the developers for making this. I don't use it for 'profanity' haha but it's been invaluable for hiding words and phrases that I personally find upsetting. I really appreciate the versatility and customisation options. Using the internet has become a significantly less stressful experience for me since I added this to my browser. Thanks again.

Great idea and exactly what i wanted! Thank you. The audio censoring/muting is a bit slow on YouTube videos. You allow an "unmute delay" but that doesn't help if the audio is faster than the captions. Please allow "Mute Speed up" to allow muting ahead of when a filter word appears in the captions. This way users can extend a mute to their exactr needs. Thank you

A little obtuse UI but it works really well and a good send really! Can finally watch streaming content with blasphemy filtered out!

Is Advanced Profanity Filter Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Advanced Profanity Filter requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
