Sidebar Browsing Panel Firefox

Sidebar Browsing Panel

By: delopsu
Open websites in the native sidebar panel while reading or watching the main tab, such as a translator, AI chat, or wiki.

Features & Capabilities

Save websites you often want beside your main tab and open them in Firefox’s native sidebar when you need them. Useful for translators, AI chats, documentation, notes, search pages, wikis, dashboards, or any reference page you want to keep visible while browsing.

You can add URLs manually, drag and drop links into the sidebar, remove saved entries, or clear the list. The extension also adds a context-menu action so you can open a link directly in the sidebar.

Saved URLs stay in local browser storage. The extension does not use accounts, analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote sync.

Is Sidebar Browsing Panel Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Sidebar Browsing Panel does not require any sensitive permissions.
