YearnOut delivers turnout alerts to firefighter rotas with the urgency
of a phone call, not the noise of a notification.

When the on-call officer dispatches a turnout, every firefighter on
their rota's call list is alerted with a full-screen incoming-call
interface. The alert takes priority over notifications, social apps,
and unrelated phone activity so the on-shift crew can't miss a real
callout in the noise of a busy phone.

WHO IT'S FOR

YearnOut is built for organised firefighter rotas — small teams that
follow a fixed shift pattern and need a reliable way to call the
on-call group into action when an incident comes in.

KEY FEATURES

• Full-screen call alert. Turnouts ring with the same prominence as a
regular phone call, and on Android the alarm plays through the
alarm audio channel so it pierces silent mode and Do Not Disturb.

• Per-rota dispatch. Officers ring only the firefighters who are
actually on shift, never the whole roster. Off-duty crew are never
paged.

• Hands-free auto-dispatch. Officers can optionally configure an
automation that fires the dispatch automatically when an incident
SMS arrives from a designated dispatcher contact.

• Honest delivery counts. The dispatcher sees how many phones
actually rang, in real time. No guessing whether a teammate got the
alert.

• Offline-tolerant. If a phone briefly drops off the network, the
alert still rings when the phone reconnects, within a short window.

• Shift-aware. The system tracks which rota is on shift and never
wakes off-duty firefighters. Officers can override manually for
drills or special situations.

FOR OFFICERS

A single Dispatch button calls the on-shift rota. The Crew screen
lets you manage individual firefighters' alert preferences. Invite
codes onboard new firefighters in seconds — every join requires your
explicit approval, no one slips into your rota without it.

FOR FIREFIGHTERS

Install once, accept notifications, you're set up. When a turnout
fires, the alert rings through and presents Accept and Decline
buttons. Test-ring your own phone any time to verify your setup.

PRIVACY

YearnOut stores only what's needed to deliver alerts: your name,
rank, and rota assignment. No SMS contents leave your device. No
location tracking. No advertising. No data sharing with third
parties.
