I used for years yet randomly went blank. it doesn't a refresh button anymore all settings are there but it shows nothing but the today day number.

I have been able to select the desired calendar. I use an Android phone. I use Google Calendar. Open Google Calendar. Press hamburger. Select or Deselect the items according to what content is required for the widget display. Widget works for me. Maybe the change did not or could not retain the desired items.
