I like it a lot but please allow color opacity on widget because just making it transparent cam make text difficult to read depending on the background.

Now shows 4.5 events (vs 2.5 before) at minimum height on Moto One, so usable. Good minimalist widget. Update: "Calendar access" doesn't work on Android 16 so I can't connect to my Outlook calendar.
