The SejlSikkert Alarm is the official app developed by the Danish Maritime Authority in cooperation with TrygFonden. It offers a simple and effective way to register your vessel and plan your maritime journey directly from your smartphone. Users can file detailed sail plans specifying vessel info, destination, estimated time of arrival, number of passengers, and activities. The app provides real-time GPS tracking and sends regular position reports to ensure safety and prompt emergency alerts if a journey exceeds its planned ETA.

Key features include emergency and assistance calls with location sharing through SMS, a "Track only" mode for simple location tracking, live location sharing with friends and family via maps, trip history with video playback, and access to nearby VHF channels and lifeboat stations. Additionally, users can personalize trip checklists and manage vessel and emergency contact information within the app. SejlSikkert Alarm enhances maritime safety by combining reliable trip planning, real-time tracking, and emergency support in a user-friendly interface.
