Live Runners

Live Runners is the pacer app for live streaming of road races. It sends the pacer's GPS in real time to the server, which generates an XML feed consumed by streaming software such as vMix and OBS to display the position of the leading runner during the live stream.

MAIN FEATURES

• Continuous GPS tracking in the background — works with the screen
off and the phone in your pocket

• Kiosk mode — locks the app in the foreground to prevent accidental touches

• Low battery consumption — optimized for long runs (marathons,

ultras)

• XML feed compatible with vMix, OBS and other broadcasting software

• Login via Google or the race organizer's email

HOW TO USE

1. The organizer registers the race and the pacer in the Road Runners Live panel

2. The pacer logs into the app with their account

3. Selects the race and the pin (Elite Men, Elite Women, etc.)

4. Taps START when starting to track the athlete

5. Locks the phone and carries it in your pocket — the app continues sending GPS

The live stream producer sees the real-time position in vMix or OBS via XML feed, and can display map, distance, pace and time difference to the next pin in the overlays.
