LivePace

LivePace is for runners who want to track their pace and share predicted finish times with supporters during a race. It works with automatic GPS or manual milestone updates, and is designed to keep battery use low across a long race.

Runners can set the target distance and expected minimum and maximum pace, as well as checkpoints along the way. Then as they pass milestones (like km markers or water tables), or have rest breaks, they can quickly update their progress, and the app keeps the predicted time for each checkpoint up to date.

LivePace can share a status message with supporters over any messaging app, so they can meet the runner along the way or congratulate them at the finish line. Optionally, supporters can follow the runner's live position in real time by entering a one-time share code -- the live-track channel is end-to-end encrypted, runs only while the runner has live tracking turned on, and can be revoked at any time. Public leaderboards are also optionally supported for races and group runs.
