Redirect to HTTPS Firefox

Redirect to HTTPS

Yet another extension to redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS.

Features & Capabilities

This extension would redirect all HTTP requests to HTTPS, except for hosts manually specified to be exceptions in options. Enabling this extension may cause websites that don't support HTTPS fail to load.

It is by design that exceptions must be manually defined. If you need automatic fallback to HTTP for sites that don't support HTTPS, this extension may not suit you.

This extension comes with no warranty. Use with caution.

Is Redirect to HTTPS Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Redirect to HTTPS requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
