ReColor

Allows you to change the colors used in any Web page with the colors you want.

Features & Capabilities

ReColor is an extension which allows you to replace the colors used by any web page with your favorite colors, by default the used colors are the Solarized palette by Ethan Schoonover, but they can easily be changed by the options.

ReColor is definitely not perfect and there can be pages for which it does not work. If you think you have found a bug please report it here https://github.com/i-tsvetkov/recolor/.

User Reviews

I love Solarized color-scheme and this addon applies it perfectly, even on dark pages. I'm missing an URL white-list, because there are some pages where I would prefer the original colors, but right now there's no option to prevent it, nor to get back the original colors once the addon changed them.

It does work, but you can't change the color however you want. The option in Firefox is not explained nor intuitive to use. I've tried finding the config.js to edit the color. It's no where on the mozilla's folders, in both users and installation. It seem the instruction was for Chrome users... not Firefox. It need more work.

It happen Solarized Light is one of my favorite color scheme. Applying color to site seem a bit slow. Sometime the script timer warning kick in. Not that big deal for me.
