Real Rating for Google Maps restores transparency to restaurant and business reviews. Recently, Google introduced a feature that displays a notice when reviews have been removed due to defamation complaints. However, these removed reviews no longer count towards the official average score, which can artificially inflate a business's rating.

This extension fixes that. It automatically detects if a location has had reviews removed for defamation. It then treats every removed review as a 1-star rating and instantly recalculates the true average score. The "Real Rating" is then seamlessly injected directly into the Google Maps interface next to the original rating using a native, green design.
