qwip AI Detection BETA

Privacy-first AI image detection with local processing and community verification. Detects AI-generated images in real-time.

Features & Capabilities

As AI images become more and more prevalent and deceptive, the importance of knowing whether information is AI generated only increases. However, modern tools require you to already be skeptical of an image to check if it is AI or not. With QWIP we simply scan every image so that nothing escapes your judgement.

Qwip works by scanning webpages you browse and checking any and all images you see. However, these images never leave your computer, our models are built off of lightweight architectures meant to run on mobile devices so they shouldn't put a strain on your browser (Especially if you enable WebGPU!).

After you scan an image, we give that image a unique ID (containing no information about the image) and store the AI/Real decision on our servers. This way if someone else sees the same image, they can quickly get the result from our server without having to re-run the model. Additionally, by only storing the ID and inference result, our server is super lightweight and super fast with only a couple hundred bits per image.

Qwip's innovative architecture guarantees that no fake images slip your judgement, no compute is wasted on images which have already been scanned, and that above all else your browsing privacy is maintained.
