Quick Sorted Download Firefox

Quick Sorted Download

Adds context menu item to download files to an automatically chosen subfolder inside your downloads directory. The destination is chosen based on the URL and a set of customizable rules.

Features & Capabilities

Quick Sorted Download is a handy Chrome extension that enhances your downloading experience by adding a context menu item for links and media files. When you use it, files are saved automatically into subfolders within your Downloads directory, chosen based on customizable URL-matching rules, eliminating the need for manual sorting or the "Save As" dialog.

Users define rules with regular expressions that match URLs, assigning each to a specific subfolder inside the Downloads folder. If a file URL doesn't meet any rule, it saves to the root Downloads folder. The extension provides easy organization by automating file placement based on where they come from. Note that downloads must be direct links accessible via a GET request, and all files are saved inside the default Downloads directory due to WebExtensions API restrictions. Simplify your file management and save time with Quick Sorted Download!
