User Reviews
Pros
- The add-on works without problems as intended for generating QR codes.
- It provides a clean and simple way to generate QR codes from a base URL.
Cons
- Does not generate QR codes directly from the context menu or selected URLs, limiting usability.
- Lacks privacy and openness since it is not open source and the code is not publicly reviewed.
- Cannot generate QR codes for specific pages like search results, only for the base website, limiting usefulness.
Recent reviews
It does what it says without any unnecessary extras. Unlike most other add-ons, it doesn't require any unnecessary permissions.
The only minor issue is that the black icon on my dark-themed toolbar is barely visible. It would be perfect if you could add a light background.

I don't understand the bad reviews: the extension works fine and doesn't add tracking junk to the qr codes it generate.

Funciona, pero le falta la opción que uno mismo pueda escribir su propia URL sin salirse de la página.

Is qr Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
qr does not require any sensitive permissions.
