Previous Page Button Firefox

Previous Page Button

The button becomes active when the current page has defined a related, previous in a sequence, page in its HEAD metadata.

Features & Capabilities

The button becomes active when the current page has defined a related page in its HEAD metadata. Online documentation, generated by DocBook, Docutils, GNU Texinfo, Sphinx and others, often include these reference links, and this add-on makes them usable.

This add-on requires HEAD Examiner, which scans pages on its behalf. The code of HEAD Examiner can be audited more easily, because it does not include any presentation elements itself.

Is Previous Page Button Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Previous Page Button requires very minimum permissions.
