Start a search with Ctrl+T (OSX) or Alt+T (Windows/Linux/ChromeOS).

Jump to last tab by immediately hitting enter after opening tabbr.

Cool idea but it doesn't work. With tab grouping introduced 2 years ago this also becomes somewhat irrelevant. Would have loved to use this 10 years ago back when it worked.
